DESDE AFUERA: Una Compilación de hardcore Latino

This is the second release in the YHR benefit compilation series, this time for RAICES: an organization that provides legal & social services so that immigrant families can stay together, even in increasingly dark times.

Desde Afuera features new, old, demo, and cover tracks from 16 bands, compiled with the help of Wince Fernandez from Missile Crisis (and many others). The work that Missile Crisis is doing in Houston to educate and be part of their community is extremely sick. 

Luis Ramirez did the artwork, based on a painting of "La Noche Triste (The Night of Sorrows)", when the Aztecs drove the colonizing Spanish conquistadors out of their capital, Tenochtitlan. He made the color scheme bronze and black as a nod to how Latin Americans were called "bronze people" or "people of the sun". I'm incredibly grateful to both Wince and Luis for making this happen, and I'm honored that YHR gets to be a part of this.
